I nside our society, the cosmic energy manifests itself through the different roles that people play in the way they relate to each other. There are 12 archetypes of roles that appear in a relationship between 2 or more people but they can also manifest internally in a man in his inner dialogue between the different aspects of his personality (unconscious “I’s” – Ego). The roles appear in a triangle between the basic 3 energies: active, passive & neutral (Rajas, Tamas & Satva in Hindu tradition)
This Triangle exists in all types of groups of people – couple, family, work environment, clubs, teams of all shorts, organizations and as we said also appears in a man inside himself as inner dialogue between different parts of his personality! In the Top always is the most wise (philosopher, teacher, priest, shaman etc). It is the one who has communication with wisdom, knowledge, God or the Spirits. He is also the bearer of the rules or laws.
EAGLE PRIEST – Energy Satva. The Eagle Priest can be only one. He is in the top. In the ancient world this could be any person even the one who was completely illiterate as long as he had the communication with ancestral spirits of his clan. He was picked for this role by the spirits after the death of his predecessor (shaman of the clan, priest etc). In any group exists the most intelligent, the one who can perceive the highest ideas that manifest in the mental level the deepest wishes of the group. He can be a coach, a teacher or a philosopher but he cannot be a Guru because he does not have the Consciousness of Sahasrara tsakra. He is limited as a role inside the boundaries of his culture and his society. He brings progress and he can unite people but he cannot liberate them.
LEADER LION – In the right corner of the triangle is the role of the leader, the “chief” of the group. He has always “right” and he pushes people forward into manifesting and doing but not necessarily upwards like the Eagle Priest. The Leader Lion is always alone in his “throne” as also the Eagle Priest. This person has predominant the Energy Rajas. He is a person of action and he is leading the group. He has the power to reward or punish but spiritually he is led by the Eagle Priest although they are many times rivals for the glory and the leadership.
SCAPEGOAT – In the left corner is the role of the “stupid”. As in the other main roles also in this role there can be only one person. In the past in every village or monastery there was always the stupid: the person with the most energy Tamas who would take upon him all the tension in spiritual and physical level. On him outburst all the beatings and strikes. This person is necessary, without him the group cannot complete itself. It is called the scapegoat of all sins. In the ancient Jews, once per year, the Eagle Priest would pick a scapegoat and put on him all the negative energy from the clan (the negative karma) and then leave his in the desert. This role also played Jesus. With his own will he took upon him all the Karma of humanity, all the sins. But Christ had the Consciousness of Sahasrara and he was leading the people to liberation and not to remain limited by and enclosed in their own civilization.
Now between the Eagle Priest & Leader Lion:
Noble Deer – Between the energies Satva and Rajas the first role next to the Eagle Priest is the noble deer. This role is the conscience of the group! He is the Knight which supports and holds intact the rights of the people in the group and the laws of the group with self denial and strong faith in the ideals. His basic elements: Duty, Faith, Honor. This person supports the weak and the victims; he has immense morality, more than the Leader lion and the Eagle Priest.
Friendly Dog – The next is the friendly dog, the soul of the group. Friendly person, ready to give his last shirt for his friends. He is ready to help everyone, every person who needs him and who will appreciate his help and honor him. He forgives everyone, he does not keep a grudge for anybody. For to keep the harmony and the happiness in the group he will do anything. His company of his friends is for him everything!
Cunning Rat (or Fox) – He is next to the leader. He is a very flexible person in his behavior but he will do anything for his personal ideas or benefit, even to betray. Whatever he is doing he is doing with the hands of other people. He himself is always in the shadow, standing on the corner. He is sociable, charming, a good story teller; he likes to be surrounded by a group of people who like him and where he can be momentarily a leader showing his talents and his abilities but he will not take the responsibilities of the leader.
