hat is the energy of money?
Can money & business become a part of our personal-development path, or is it something totally out of our true nature, an artificial illusion and can only cause us ignorance, misunderstanding of life, and apathy?
We will dedicate our time and consciousness now to this topic. It is not just a topic for discussions and philosophical debate but is a part of our life - it is everywhere and in everybody's life. So it deserves our attention and effort to understand it!
So from the moment that money exists, people identify with it. That is the first observation. Because of this identification, there is a lot of conditioning and many subconsciously "programmed" attitudes created around money. Of course, all these attitudes are nothing but reflections of our psychological world. We project to the world of money these aspects of our selves because we identify them with money. Because of this, money can become a great tool of transformation as it is a manifestation not only of something external but of something internal as well. By becoming aware of all these aspects of our inner world that manifest and appear through the identification with the financial world, money, business, etc., we can understand ourselves better. We can then illuminate these corners of our psyche that exist under the level of our consciousness (subconscious) and rule our behavior and our life from the shadows!
So let's embark on this journey of self discovery and transformation. Lets learn about the path of money and what exists behind our efforts to acquire it and have it in our lives.
RICH & POOR
The first and primary identity or behavioral pattern created around money is being poor or rich. If you have a lot of money, you are considered rich, and if not, you are poor. Now you will think that this is stating the obvious. Still, in reality, richness and poverty are relevant because they exist only through our identification, and they are connected only with the acquisition of money. But because money is also the means to acquire the things necessary for our survival, the material things as well as other things like knowledge, traveling, entertainment, etc., it is very practically wise to take this aspect of our life seriously.
So although we could simply say: "do not identify with money," practically it is not so simple at all. Only from the absolute perspective of the "level of Nirvana," aka consciousness, we could ultimately see money as something strange to our true nature. To put it simply, until you have become illuminated and completely free form all the needs of your body and this world, money will play a significant role in your life (of course not the biggest).
So let us understand being poor or rich. If it is connected as we said with our psyche and reflects it, money shows an essential characteristic - the existence of richness and poverty in our subconscious.
This fact is something that the majority of people do not understand or don't want to see, but it is true. It's not the money that create these two identities but us.
The money simply reflects it. So from this perspective, we can say that the poor are poor because they CANNOT BE rich, and if we see the behavior and psychological traits of both poor and rich, we will see that the rich think, feel, and act differently than the poor. This is reality, and there are apparent differences in the attitudes, beliefs, and actions of rich and poor people regarding money but also regarding life in general. The good news is that these attitudes and beliefs can change!
